PHOTOGRAPHY
Projects that use photography to construct seemingly plausible memories.
Everyday settings and realistic scenes, created with staged sets and avatar figures, slowly reveal their artificial and ironic nature, simulating smartphone screens. These images seem to document something experienced, but which in reality never happened.
DREAMTIME TRAVELS (2025)
A photographic project that explores the relationship between truth and fiction, and the concepts of memory and imagination. Set in an AI-generated environment depicting dystopian scenarios, the protagonist is the humanoid figure of the installation Dreamtime Traveler, who thus exists on both the real and digital planes. This work was selected as a 2025 IA Awards finalist.

A NEW WORLD (2019-2022)
A photographic project that explores the relationship between truth and fiction, and the concepts of memory and imagination. The photographs, printed in 40x50 Polaroid format on aluminum, almost appear like memories of a journey to another world, starring a toy astronaut. In reality, they are enlarged details of everyday environments, with artificially constructed studio sets, inspired by staged photography. The Chinese character for "marvel" appears in each image. The series won an award at Paratissima 2019.

Another lonesome pop death (2017-2018)
A photographic project that ironically explores the relationship between truth and fiction. The photographs, printed on aluminum, depict toy robots seemingly committing suicide, taken using an iPhone. The setting uses custom-built studio sets, inspired by staged photography. The series ironically plays on the relationship between death and appearance, through the inclusion of Japanese writing that appears to scroll as if on a screen. Award-winning series at Paratissima 2018.

Four lonesome pop deaths (2017)
A photographic installation that explores the relationship between truth and fiction, and the concept of appearance. The photographs are printed on LED-backlit aluminum lightboxes, which resemble oversized iPhones.
